10 glorious minutes of total prog!

| Notes: |
This is my first effort working with a new recording set up. I'm now using pc/Adobe Audition.
I've really enjoyed the experience of the creation process with this song. Working visually with wavs is a lot less labourious than with the hardware VF-160 multitracker. Hopefully, my songwriting and production will continue to improve under this formula.

WEATHER
The weather takes its toll on your soul
You don’t have to feel like this.
You’ve got to look inside your heart
Don’t tear yourself apart
You’ve got to piece your life together again.
When I was a young boy
I thought that life was going to last forever.
Time can be so cruel
People come and go –
so cherish times with loved ones you know.
Where does my path go?
Tell me, I want to know.
And though I feel so low
I won’t give up the fight
Dreams can set the world alight.
Never give up the fight
If there’s a spark – there’s a flame
You can set the world alight.
Never give up the fight
Your dreams are alive in the ether in the moonlight.
Another year has come
I thought that all these feelings would have gone
The ones I tried to find – buried them way down deep inside.
Now I realise you can’t hide who you really are from your own eyes.
The only way to free yourself
IS TO BE YOURSELF.
