Medicine for the soul indeed! And more than a little mind stretching too! Might want to bring the vox up a bit but thats just my preference. This is amazing! Guitars are great! That segue into the solo really got me. Such a great listen, this was! Excellent! Yup, I have to hear this again right now.

you give me something to believe in... its in your smile... beautiful lyric... have to agree with bow here (well he's never wrong o'course) but wonderful introduction... this has a lovely "feel" to it throughout, almost "world music" feel. that's what's evocative about it to me anyway, and i love the way the guitar slides in after the first verse. holy crap can you play guitar. i'd have the voice a little further forward in the mix as well, but as Mary says, that's a personal preference and it works equally as well as it stands. Nice!

First thing I noticed - you're becoming a much better drummer. The production is smooth, engineering is excellent. I would like to hear your voice a little more upfront in the "medicine for the soul" part, but that's just me. Well, and Mary & Firefly. I have always been a fan of songs that go over 5 minutes without boring me, and this is a perfect example. I hear a couple of Trawavas-esque bass fills, which is a good thing. Keep 'em coming. And let us know when you release the CD!

I love the tone of the acoustic in the beginning and the distant electric when it enters. I wish I had the coordination to play drums---your getting good at it too I might add! Chorus is awesome. ….and I super dig that wah Hendrixish guitar. This paints some lovely pictures---you are a master landscaper with your music. Trippy synth @ 4:06! You move through these transitions with the greatest of ease. Holy crap man! 4:55---awesome guitar work!!!!!—the bass is getting a workout too! Over 7 minutes and never a dull moment, that’s not easy to do and you did it masterfully. Fantastic man! Just fantastic!

This is excellent. That progression on the acoustic is one of those things that I'm always looking for. It's played brilliantly.
Great vocals too. They sound maybe a little buried, or like there needs to be one voice coming out above the rest. That's a first-listen opinion; I know a lot of stuff that sounds like that at first to me ends up sounding perfect later.
Great chorus! And the way it comes back out is really cool; that clear sounding acoustic stuff is great.
Very cool synth/acoustic stuff too in the break. And of course a cool as shit guitar solo. Or... guitar duo. Nice. Love that wah.
Wow. This is an amazing song. Nice work.

i'm reading all the comments here and i'm saying, yup, yup, yes, yup...i agree with all the praises from other talented artists...you are amazingly gifted, do not just play all these instruments but play them very well, good ear for production, and your arrangement blew me out of the water.
i followed a friends song full of comments and found your rockin' full of tight lyrics sight. you can play guitar with anyone, anywhere - - and stay right with the best. i'm not a professional, but i have a pretty good ear for 'should get air time' !!!
love and peace--------jd

about the 5th time i'm here to listen - fully enjoyed this again and again--but i have to agree with others, i want to hear that great voice a little more. those lyrics are too good, and your vox, to be less than heard. on another note - this is a fantastic song, composition, dramatic zeppzep like, but very much your own production. whew. hoooowee. peace ----jd

at first i thought, this ain't my bag, doesn't sound like something i'd listen to...but the song kept building and kept getting better. again, your instrumentation and production are enviable to say the least. i especially like the sound of the acoustic, as others have mentioned.
